Outline

The 2nd Japan-Arab Economic Forum was held in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, for two consecutive days from December 11 to December 12, 2010. The event was co–hosted by Japan (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and the League of Arab States, with cooperation by the Government of Tunisia.

Over 1,100 persons joined this forum and discussed the possibility of concrete cooperation and projects by Japan and Arab states.

This time, the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) cooperated with the Tunisian Ministry of Development and International Cooperation, which was the institution involved in the operation on the Arab states' side, to facilitate the operation of the Forum.
